    Order a new Moodle course using OMA implementation or hankintalomake.metropolia.fi/moodle/. 

    Logging in to Moodle

    You can log in to Metropolia's Moodle using three types of credentials:

    • Metropolia: Primary login method using Metropolia credentials.
    • Haka-log in: Login with credentials from another Finnish higher education institution.
    • Local credentials: For users who have been given separate educational/local credentials.

    If you do not see your courses when logging in via Haka, please activate your Metropolia credentials. After activation, log in to Moodle using your Metropolia username.

Metropolia Moodlen huoltokatkot keväällä 2026:

  • 17.2. klo 22-24
  • 21.4. klo 22-24
  • 8.5. klo 07-08

Moodle ei ole käytössä huoltokatkon aikana.

 Metropolia Moodle maintenance breaks Spring 2026:

  • 17.2. 10 p.m. to midnight
  • 21.4. 10 p.m. to midnight
  • 8.5. 7-8 a.m.

Moodle will be out of service during the maintenance breaks.

Moodle huoltokatko / Maintenance break 30.12. 9-11 a.m.

 Below is a notice from the Helpdesk about maintenance breaks at the turn of the year. Moodle will be under maintenance on Tuesday, December 30, from 9 to 11 a.m.🎄

Maintenance breaks Mon 29 Dec 2025 at 8:00 – Fri 2 Jan 2026 at 18:00

Metropolia's server systems will undergo maintenance from Mon 29 Dec 2025 at 8:00 to Fri 2 Jan 2026 at 18:00
The maintenance will cause service interruptions in most IT services provided by Metropolia, such as

  • financial and human resources management systems
  • Email
  • Teams
  • Network drives (Z, U, W, T, S, P)
  • Microsoft 365 logins
  • Virtual desktops (vdi and campusvdi)
  • Teaching and project web services, including exam, users, vhost, mysql, mysqlproj, projects servers, wiki.metropolia.fi, www.metropolia.fi, ezproxy.metropolia.fi and elomake.metropolia.fi
  • moodle.metropolia.fi
  • www.valmentavakoulutus.fi

Varaudu käyttökatkoihin la–su 8.-9.11.2025 / Prepare for service interruptions

Lauantaina 8.11. klo 8 aloitetaan Metropolian tietoverkoissa huoltotyöt, jotka voivat aiheuttaa tilapäisiä katkoksia palveluiden toimivuudessa sunnuntai-iltaan saakka. 

Katkoja voi esiintyä missä tahansa verkon kautta tarjottavassa Metropolian palvelussa tai Metropolian käyttäjätunnuksella kirjautumisessa (ml. Moodle). Lisäksi katkoja voi esiintyä kampusten langallisissa ja langattomissa verkoissa. Kaikki palvelut eivät ole jatkuvasti poissa käytöstä koko huoltotöiden ajan, mutta pyydämme varautumaan katkoihin.

Pahoittelemme huoltotoimenpiteistä mahdollisesti aiheutuvaa haittaa.

 

On Saturday 8 November at 8:00 AM, maintenance work will begin on Metropolia's data networks, which may cause temporary disruptions in service functionality until Sunday evening.

Disruptions may occur in any Metropolia service provided over the network or when logging in with a Metropolia user account (including Moodle). Additionally, disruptions may affect both wired and wireless networks on campuses. Not all services will be continuously unavailable during the maintenance period, but we kindly ask you to prepare for interruptions.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the maintenance work.
