The course introduces ERP systems and digitalization from a business perspective. ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. Basically ERP system is a set of software that organizations use to manage day-to-day business operations such as accounting, procurement, manufacturing, sales, human resources, supply chain operations, etc. Software also helps to plan, budget, predict, and report on an organization’s financial results.
ERP systems tie together a multitude of business processes and enable the flow of data between the processes. ERP systems eliminate data duplication and provide data integrity with a single source of truth.
