Upon completing the course, the student understands the general context of strategic management and the role of a supervisor in creating and implementing the company's strategy. Students become familiar with the theories and tools of strategic management and are able to promote the implementation of strategies using means appropriate to the operating environment.
The student becomes familiar with change management theories and is able to apply them in organizational change situations. The student masters and is able to apply the principles of transformative leadership in workplace community changes.
