The course introduces the computational intricacies of the various machine-readable digital models and formats used to represent the built environment. The course will focus on open and standardised representations, and related open software tools. One central theme is interoperability of systems, with particular emphasis on the role that common representations play in achieving it. A key objective of the course is to equip participants with the mindset of linking different representations and exploit interlinked data to increase productivity and create new value.
