Use the author and date. Do not use the name of the social media platform.

In your text, a social media post can be cited as an in-text reference. In the following examples, the text is referring to a tweet from the company DNA’s X/Twitter account:

DNA Business called for Finns to put their smart phones aside on Sunday 2 October (2022).

or

According to research, 44% of Finns say they spend too much time on their smart devices. (DNA Business 2022).
